Mercer County Animal Shelter is in desperate need of hard and soft dog food and soft cat food. All donations are appreciated.
The shelter is bursting at the seams with dogs. We need foster homes. Here are some benefits of having dogs in a foster home:

Notes: Sunshine is a male, around six months old. During that recent heatwave, animal control found this sweet boy alone and suffering from active heatstroke and immediately rushed him to the shelter. When they arrived, he had a temperature of around 106 degrees. Sunshine bounced back quickly and has made a full recovery, and is now looking for his forever home with lots of love, cool water, and air conditioning.

Adoption fees: Dog adoption is $140. Fee includes spay/neuter and rabies vaccination.

- Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to any location including out of state residents. Please note ALL animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter.
